Our Winter 2026 In-House Advanced Volleyball League combines weekly team practices with competitive gameplay! This program is ideal for advanced-level athletes who have volleyball experience and are ready to build deeper knowledge of the game through structured competition.

Program Structure
This 9-week session includes:

• Week 1: Skills Evaluation & Team Placement
• Weeks 2–4: Team Practices + Regular Season Games
• Weeks 5–7: Regular Season Games
• Week 8: Playoffs
• Week 9: Championship

Each week (Saturday’s only), teams will receive 30 minutes of practice before their scheduled game to strategize and warm up.

Evaluation & Team Placement
All athletes are required to attend the Week 1 Skills Evaluation. This session will assess each athlete’s understanding and execution of core volleyball concepts to ensure appropriate team placement.

Mandatory Attendance:
Failure to attend Week 1’s evaluation will delay you being added to a team. If your athlete cannot attend due to unavoidable circumstances, you must notify us at office@calsportsacademy.com before the league begins to schedule a makeup evaluation which could league to a private session if we don’t have a class available for your athlete to join.

Game Format & Scheduling
All regular season games will take place on Fridays or Saturdays (Time TBD).
Game format includes:

• 2 sets to 25
• 1 set to 15 (only in the event of a tie or if time permits)

Final schedules will be based on total registrations and number of teams participating.

Team Shirt & Dress Code
Each athlete will receive a team shirt (Week 3), which must be worn every week.

• Athletes who do not wear their team shirt will result in an automatic point awarded to the opposing team at the start of the match.

Please ensure you select the correct shirt size during registration.

• Lost, damaged, or incorrect sizes will require a $25 replacement fee.
• Athletes may wear any color shorts/pants and must wear sneakers on court.

Volunteers Needed
To ensure smooth operations and allow CAL Coaches to focus fully on gameplay, we are seeking parent volunteers for scorekeeping.
